Royal Rangers
Building Skills & Character in Boys

Participants & families that attended District Pinewood Derby Race in Sacramento March 2002.
Royal Rangers is for boys ages 5 to 14. Its structure and design is similar to that of Boy Scouts, where boys learn practical skills
through activities such as camping, hiking, first aid, and nature study. However, Royal Rangers is unique in that it teaches boys
to become self-reliant and appreciative of God by developing their knowledge and skill of the outdoors. It teaches boys to be
alert, clean, honest, courageous, loyal, courteous, obedient, and spiritual.

Calvary Assembly offers four clubs for boys of various ages. Each of these clubs meets weekly, on Wednesday evenings, from
7:00 to 8:15 P.M.
Ranger Kids, for five and six-year-old boys, carries an Indian theme. The seven and eight-year-old group,
Ranger Kids, feature a western theme and teach boys the fundamental truths of the Bible and the Royal Ranger ministry. In
Discovery Rangers, nine to eleven-year-old boys get to participate in more challenging activities such as camping, first aid, and
Christian service.
Adventure Rangers, for boys ages twelve to fourteen, offers a variety of new camp craft skills and
opportunities for boys to become more self-reliant and develop a deeper appreciation of God and the outdoors.
